This watch was first conceived in the early 1990’s by
Mr. Philippe Dufour for Mr. Daniel Roth. The
idea was to create a calendar that would be
totally self adjusting, and unlike all other wrist
watch calendar mechanisms be “instant” in its
function. This means that all the dials
indicating the displays of the perpetual
calendar does not have any pre-movement of
the hands, or dials, instead everything moves
in an instant at the stroke of midnight, faster
than the human eye can detect. |
