Dining In - The Chef’s Table

Gordon Ramsay Restaurant at Claridge's
Gordon Ramsay has become a pass master of the chef’s table, offering diners the chance to experience this phenomenon in no less than six exclusive restaurants in London. Perhaps the most prestigious of these is at Claridge's in Mayfair, where opulence and glamour meet classic English style at one of the country’s finest hotels. Here the chef’s table is located in the heart of the kitchen at the Art Deco Gordon Ramsay restaurant and seats up to six guests. Overlooking the central pass, diners get a brilliant insight into how the kitchen runs whilst watching the chefs hard at work.

Available for lunch or dinner, the chef's table includes a unique four-course menu. A glass of champagne and canapés are served in the lobby to welcome guests as they arrive. Once seated, the restaurant's Head Chef – it might even be Gordon Ramsay himself – will present his tailored menu based on the day's freshest market produce

The artistically prepared modern European cuisine includes appetizer dishes such as fois gras in beumes de venise and watercress veloute. For mains, it would be hard to resist the succulent smell of roasted Cornish lamb in tarragon just as it's prepared before your eyes. To complement the menu, the head sommelier is on hand to personally advise on wine pairings for each course.

This exclusivity comes at a price tag of £630 *(US$1,279) per table for lunch and £780 *(US$1,584) for dinner. To guarantee a seat, be sure to book six months in advance. For reservations, call +44 (0)20 7499 3099.
