Established in 1946, Cathay Pacific Airways is the flag carrier of Hong Kong and one of Asia's most highly regarded airlines. A regular winner of airline awards, their all-wide-body fleet totaled 101 on their 60th anniversary in 2006. In 2007, Cathay Pacific plans to reveal redesigned cabin interiors with new seat designs.


  SEATS  
   
  36 inches wide and 81 inches long, the full-flat-folding seats in First Class are fully adjustable, and will come with a massage function. Each seat has an Ottoman seat for extra storage, or that can function as a temporary guest seat.


 
  AMENITIES/FACILITIES  
   
  A 17” personal flat-screen television is provided for each passenger. A built-in laptop power supply is attached also, for working on the extendable table top. A personal closet stocked with amenities such as toiletries, sleeper suit, a shoe bag, a mattress, a pillow, and a duvet is part of the First Class experience.


 
  MENU  
   
  All Boeing 747 aircraft with the upcoming First Class will have a rice cooker, a toaster, and skillets for whipping up hot snacks and meals for passengers at their own request. A la carte dining is offered.


 
  AIRPORT LOUNGE FACILITIES  
   
  First Class travelers have access to a dedicated lounge, with an on-demand business center and wireless broadband, nap rooms, and an a la carte dining menu.


 
 
 


  SEATS  
   
  The seats on Cathay's Business Class are 23.5” wide and 78” long, and are fully-adjustable. Like their First Class counterparts, Business Class travelers get a supplemental Ottoman for resting their feet as well as storing their carry-on luggage. A three-point seatbelt is fitted for security. A 110V AC power socket is on hand for your devices, while a noise-canceling headset connects to the 15” television.


 
  MENU  
   
  Business Class passengers enjoy the same rice cookers, toasters, and skillets on board Boeing 747s as their First Class brethren. They even get a la carte dining options as well.


 
  AIRPORT LOUNGE FACILITIES  
   
  The Airport Lounge for Cathay's Business Class travelers have access to a business center, a bistro, and a relaxing area in which to pass the time before a flight.
