latest watch creation, Charms, revolves around the idea that time is a gift.
Acclaimed for their inventive and attractive pieces, Van Cleef & Arpels has
consistently displayed a strong command of the zeitgeist.
The Charms watch is
no exception, with its Alhambra-inspired guilloche dial and a choice of either
two or three lines of round diamonds on the bezel.
Guilloche is very much in
vogue while personalization services for luxury watches is a prominent emerging
trend. Interchangeable straps complete this offering, with owners having a wide
variety of options to match many different styles of dress.
The spirit of invention with this watch does not come with
the movement, which is quartz. Instead, Van Cleef & Arpels focuses on a
charm in the shape a diamond-set Alhambra motif, attached to the case by a
ring. This charm can turn freely around the dial.
