Italian luxury goods maker Salvatore Ferragamo’s first foray
into interior design takes it to Dubai where it has inked a deal with UAE’s
Trident International Holdings to design a set of luxury penthouses for its
upcoming Pentominium project.
At 516 meters, and boasting 120 floors and 120 penthouses,
the Pentominium is set to become the tallest residential tower in the world.
The project’s concept translates the idea of a penthouse as
a unit of a condominium, hence the name Pentominium. Each penthouse unit boasts
at least a floor space of 6,470 square feet (or 601 sq m) with ocean views.
While standard units are expected
to command around US$5.3 million, there is no word on pricing for the Ferragamo-designed
penthouses.
Amenities in the Pentominium include an indoor pool, a Sky Lounge for business functions which directly overlooks the Palm
Jumeirah, and an Observation Deck for that top-of-the-world excursion.
No effort has been spared to offer the ultimate in luxury
living, with a selected group of premium luxury brands signing on for this
project, including Davidoff, Tiffany & Co, Swarovski, Azimut, Rolls-Royce,
Six Spenses Spa, and exclusive concierge service provider Quintessentially.
