Italian furniture maker Bonaldo’s new collection for 2008
features the works of eight Italian designers including the likes of Giuseppe
Vigano, Mauro Lipparini and Gino Carollo.

Vigano
Vigano’s contribution to the
collection is the quirky Point bed, whose irregular angular lines provide an
interesting contrast to the clean lines of Gino Carollo’s square and
rectangular tables.

And to mix things up a little, Carollo has also designed a
doughnut shaped pouffe and table in his Glam collection, featuring a polygonal
glass top and quilted fabric or leather padding.

Mauro Lipparini introduced his
Peanut B sofa, which gets its name and inspiration from the popular whipped
sugar-peanut butter sandwich in the United States, and looks the perfect
complement to the Lipparini’s Fluff bed from 2007.

Other notable pieces in the
collection include the Tip Toe chair by Lipparini, the Benny armchair bed by
Pier Vittorio Prevedello that easily transforms into a chaiselongue, and Mario
Mazzer’s Plinto extendable tables.
