For many years the House of
Amouage sought the world’s rarest ingredients, such as silver frankincense only
found on the hills north of Dhofar in the
Sultanate of Oman, to create precious perfumes fit for dignitaries of nations.
Founded by members of the Omani Royal Family to carry on age-old traditions of
perfume making, Amouage celebrates their 25th
anniversary with the launch of two new fragrances – Jubilation 25 for women and
Jubilation XXV for men.
Jubilation 25 comes in an exquisite bottle inspired by elements
of classical Arabian architecture, as seen in its beautiful dome-shaped cap,
and emblazoned with Amouage’s gold emblem.
Characterised by quaint top notes of rose, ylang ylang,
lemon and tarragon, this elaborate fragrance is further enhanced by heart notes
of rare rock rose and frankincense. Other prized ingredients like vetiver,
patchouli and myrrh lend depth to its base notes.
Similarly, Jubilation XXV contains
Amouage’s signature rock rose and frankincense, combined with an infusion of
unusual ingredients like opoponax, cedar, coriander, and blackberry among others.
The fragrance is housed in a bottle designed to emulate the khanjar (traditional silver dagger worn by
Omani men), where the cap resembles the ornate ivory hilt of the khanjar.
