Two New Additions to the Armand de Brignac Family of Champagne

Keywords: Wine Champagne and Spirits

The much venerated champagne house Armand de Brignac has two new champagnes to add to its flagship cuvée, the Brut Gold. Currently maturing in the cellars, the first is a pink champagne, the Armand de Brignac Rosé, which comes in a pink-gold bottle with matching adornments.

The second is the Armand de Brignac Blanc de Blancs, which is pressed from a selection of white Chardonnay, contained in an antique silver bottle with matching silver labels.

Armand de Brignac’s champagne hails from a blend of three grape varieties, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, harvested from the “Premier Cru” vineyards of the Carrier family in Chigny-les-Roses, a tiny village in the Champagne region of France.

Also on the cards is a very small quantity of Armand de Brignac champagne, made from the Clos grapes harvested from a segregated plot of land called the Clos Yons.

According to the champagne house, the Clos grapes exhibit “unique characteristics that set it apart from the surrounding terroir”. The Armand de Brignac Clos Yons is produced in boutique fashion, and is only available by personal request.
