Sculp(IT) Redefines Luxury Living In Confined Space

This four-story residential building wedged between two walls on a street in Antwerp, Belgium may not be your typical idea of a luxury home. But what many would construe as a space constraint, the architects at sculp(IT) see it ideal as a platform to demonstrate their creativity.

Measuring a mere 2.4 meters (or 7 feet 10 inches) in width, the architects have managed to erect four wooden floors held in place by a steel skeleton, connected by a one-piece staircase and featuring huge floor-to-ceiling windows.

The architects took only three weeks to put together the entire structure. The ground floor is designed as an office space while the dining room, lounge and bedroom occupy the second, third and fourth floors respectively.

From the pictures provided by the company, it seems the bed is right next to the shower and bathroom. The bathtub installation on the roof, though, leaves room for one’s mind to venture yonder.
