Cartier – the “King of Jewelers and the Jeweler of Kings” – returned to the Singapore Polo Club for the fourth year running as the title sponsor of the Cartier International Polo Tournament from May 13-18, 2008.

Indian fame and royalty graced the prestigious event, with Princess Bhagarvi of Udaipur returning as the Guest-of-Honor for the second year. The venue was transformed for an Indian-inspired gala dinner, with the “Days of the Raj” theme setting the scene for an evening of glamour, complementing the distinguished guests in attendance, as well as the recent release of Cartier’s Indian-inspired Inde Mystérieuse jewelry line.

Guests enjoyed free-flowing champagne while being treated to the exhilarating displays on the field, where team Singapore took the Cartier Le Maillet d’Or trophy, marking the close of yet another successful International Polo Tournament for Cartier.
