Mercedes-Benz has released the
official first images of the new generation Mercedes-Benz SL.
Looking noticeably more angular
than its sleek and slick predecessor, the standard-setting hardtop convertible
is now available in a new entry level model in Europe,
the SL 280. The SL 350 now sports greater power and fuel economy while the much
loved SL 500 and 600 will retain their same gargantuan engines.
The new Direct Steer System, last
announced in the new CLC will also be in the SL to guarantee responsive
driving.
The SL is known not only for
sporting performance, but for top of the line Mercedes build quality and luxury.
Buyers can expect the AIRSCARF neck-level heating to increase comfort when
driving top down in winter, while the COMAND multimedia system has been enhanced
with additional functions
The Mercedes-Benz SL will be
available in the flesh at the Geneva International Motor Show in March, and
should hit European dealers in early April this year.
