Aspiring filmmakers should sit up and take
notice of Motorola's latest offering at the ongoing International
Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2008) in Las Vegas.
Motorola aims to let users "capture and share life's moments from almost anywhere in the
world" with the new Moto Z10, said Stu Reed, President of Motorola.
This smartphone is packed with video-centric features that allow
you to capture, edit, and share multimedia files on-the-go. Although the Z10 delivers relatively sharp
images at 3 shots per second with a
3.2-megapixel camera and smart auto focus feature, the real highlight is its
superb media playback capabilities and storyboard editing software.
It provides
video playback at 30 frames per second (just like on a TV set)
via a 2.2-inch, 16-million colour display, and can support up to 32GB via an
external memory card.
Edit video clips and add soundtracks on this sleek phone
that sports an ergonomic kickslider design in spun stainless steel, before you
upload it directly to your preferred video-sharing website.
Other technical
specs include 3.5G HSDPA, GSM/GPRS/EDGE, Symbian/UIQ
software, Bluetooth, USB support, FM Radio, and a digital music player. Motorola underlies its intention not to be left out of the race to produce the sleekest music player-mobile phone by introducing its own candidate, the ROKR E8, into the mix.
The ROKR E8 presents Motorola's first haptic touch pad; which
provides a tactile response whenever you touch a key. Other features like the
Stereo Bluetooth wireless technology, and a 3.5 mm headset jack gives users
the freedom to plug and play their favourite music on stereo headphones.
