IWC Schaffhausen, in partnership with Singapore watch retailer Sincere Fine Watches, recently co-organized a series of watchmaking classes for members of the public. The classes were held at the Sentosa Cove on Sentosa Island, a major tourist attraction in Singapore. Watch enthusiasts had a chance to get hands-on experience on IWC's in-house caliber 95 pocket watch movement.

At the same time, IWC's chief constructing engineer Kurt Klaus, together with his team of watchmakers, were on hand to offer expert advice and give personal coaching. Earlier this year, IWC had launched a limited edition of the Da Vinci Perpetual Calendar as a tribute to Klaus, for his 50 years of contribution to the brand.
